How To Remove Adsstoreclub Please?
2 Answers
From time to time my browser on Chrome opens up an adsstoreclub page. I see it's some sort of browser hijacker. It sometimes also opens an Amazon page and today seemed to be directing to a porn site!
I read that the Chrome clean up tool should clear it but it detected nothing and the popup still appears. I also use Windows Defender and MacAfee. I have also run MalwareBytes but the issue remains. It's not in my browser settings as a default (or other) search engine within Chome.
There are free removal tools advertised online but I am reluctant to use something unless ABers recommend it as safe and effective.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

To get into Safe Mode using any version of Windows before Windows 10, keep tapping F8 during the boot-up process until you see a selection of boot options offered to you. Use the up and down arrow keys to select Safe Mode and hit Enter. If you're using Windows 10, see here: https:/ /suppor t.micro soft.co m/en-gb /help/1 2376/wi ndows-1 0-start -your-p c-in-sa fe-mode
(Note: While in Safe Mode your screen might look rather odd; don't worry, it's normal! To get out of Safe Mode simply restart your computer).
