I read it on the net. Wanted to know if it's true. And if it makes you feel full for a long time, just eating vegetables or high protein foods before eating bread.

Well if you fill up on protein each meal you won’t have room for bread

Perhaps you just eat less bread if you are already full and therefore the sugar content is lowered.
A summary of the findings of a research project (using just 16 people with type 2 diabetes) which leads to the type of thing you've been reading:
https://blackdoctor.org/516677/eat-carbs-last-for-better-diabetes-control/

The actual study, as published in the British Medical Journal:
https://drc.bmj.com/content/5/1/e000440

As I read it, there does seem to be some evidence to support what's suggested in your post but further research is still needed before people with type 2 diabetes should change their dietary habits. (Quote: "The carbohydrate-last meal pattern may be an effective behavioral strategy to improve postprandial glucose control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus; feasibility and effectiveness need to be assessed in prospective studies").
Where did you read such nonsense?
Skip the bread and stick with the protein.
A diabetic is better off skipping the carbs...except for leafy greens. There's enough current research to support that.

>>> Where did you read such nonsense?

So you think that the British Medical Journal publishes 'nonsense' then, Pasta?

Are you related to Sqad by any chance? ;-)
Haha...I was directing my scepticism to the OP. Though that study you mention was on only, 16 people? Still sceptical...
;-))
