My friend has just told me she is about go to through this operation, I was shocked and have so many questions but I can see shes scared so dont want to ask. But my main question is... can female to male transgender people ejaculate? I know they have no sperm and I'm quite clear on how phalloplasy works with the pumps etc. but what happens when they climax?

You must ask her,it will be good for her to talk openly with a close friend, Can't see how they can ejaculate though,surely that would be impossible !!

There will not be any climax, a penis created through phalloplasty (assuming this is the surgery she chooses) is in essence, just a flap of skin that can be mechanically inflated. The penis cannot ejaculate, nothing happens.

Your friend needs all the support she can get ~ it's great to know that you are there for her. Asking questions will be good, for both you & your friend. There are lots of support groups out there, and I am sure there are websites too..do some browsing and try to become a little informed, that way your pal will know you are interested in her well being.

I thought they used the clitoris to help make the penis and therefore the sensation of orgasm is there. Shouldn't think there would be fluid though.

I'm more shocked in a sense that when she told me of her decision it was always a case of I dont want to have anything done, she intended to be more of a tv than a ts. but that has all changed now, thanks for suggesting I talk to her guys I will definitely be doing that, im sure it'll help more than not
