I have done lots of this quiz but am completely stumped by the Fish Ladder. That is beyond me. I can never do those things.

I don't want answers but any tips would be welcome.

Closing date is 15th. January 2019, so I can bide my time for any help.

You need to start by solving the clued words.

Can anyone give me a "salmon ladder" leg up, please.
I've got the 3rd clue, but the 1st & 2nd elude me.
Just a hint on the nimber of letters in each would be handy.
