My friend has received a demand from the management company requesting payment by the end of January as they have "unexpected bills" for the maintenance due in April. The lease states payment in October & April can the MC request/demand payment early?

much will depend on the set up of the MC and the articles of their engagement. on the face of it though, the answer is clear;y yes they can request it early, because they have!
