Missed that it was Burn's until I saw the earlier thread here. Went to Wetherspoons for haggis last year, seems unlikely I'll do so today :-(

(Should've realised earlier this week when I wondered at all the plastic wrapped haggis in the supermarket... Doh!)

I had a haggis meal in the spoons in Peebles a couple of years ago. They included a whiskey sauce but I have never seen that in my local spoons.
Academic really as we always cook our own.

A Group of AB men, all aged 40, discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at Wetherspoons in Uxbridge because the barstaff had big breasts and wore short skirts. Minty would show in her sparkly and TonyV was strong enough not to have a heart attack.

Finally it was agreed that they would meet at Wetherspoons in Uxbridge because there was plenty of parking, they could dine in peace and quiet with no loud music, and it was good value for money. Also Tony AV wouldn't be disheartened by Aston Villa not being on the TVs.

Ten years later, at age 70, they discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at Wetherspoons in Uxbridge because the restaurant was wheelchair accessible and had a toilet for Spath.
