Greggs. They're cheaper and I'm not particularly picky.
Also Greggs are a homegrown business not a huge worldwide chain, therefore ethicly I'd go for them.

I've tried both; but a cold roll sans pet food doesn't really match up to a hot pastry filled with savoury cooked meats and veg.

I have never had either, we have a Subway in our local hospital. I don't really feel like eating when I am there.
