A few of my clients this morning have almost been frozen solid. (Bit of an over exaggeration).

It's -5 today out ere.. Hoping to reach 2 degrees by luncheon. i'm not really working, it's near impossible but still doing my rounds.

Just letting people know / maybe reminding / opening up the idea to check on your elderly neighbours in this Baltic weather. They usually have a stock pile of biscuits and goodies so also take deep pockets.

That's nice murraymints! It can be very hard for them to get to the shops sometimes. Especially for the basics like milk and bread
I live in a small block of flats in the city centre. One is used as an office. Of the three other flats, it is me who is the older neighbour. I am 55.

Bring chocolate and Dreamies x
My wife and I qualify as elderly. We live on an estate, quite close to our neighbours. We see these reminders, from time to time, about younger people checking on their elderly neighbours, so we say to each other, "Listen out for the doorbell. We'll have a queue of neighbours lining up to assure themselves that we are in good health, and have everything that we need to survive the cold weather." But we are still waiting.

I'm not sure of any neighbours who are elderly around me.. Only my clients
It's not risen above freezing here today, waiting for some snow so at least it will be warmer

Nor here Tony! :(
-7 here this morning so when I came home at lunch I took some soup bread and eggs to some old folk that live in the village had to have a sleep as they fed me some gin!
Snow has been and gone here (for how long don't know), very cold though - we all look out for each other luckily, young and old alike.

Keep up the good neighbourliness everyone.

True that Mamy :) Warm spirits
At what age do you become elderly?

If anyone called me elderly, I'd clock 'em one!
I'm not elderly enough to be classed as elderly, in my eyes.
But, if youngsters wanted to take care of me why would I complain?

Bring it on!!!!!
