What's all the hype?

I've read so many times to not watch it alone but it's a bit 'meh'

We've seen so many documentaries on serial killers...why is this suppose to be scarier than others?

Dunno Ummmm I watched something on TV here about him the other night. He was perfectly vile but as you say no more vile than anyone else who kills and tortures for kicks.

My son told me that he and his wife had been watching it and that it was pretty naff.

What I remember about the case is that on the morning of his execution a local DJ was telling people to switch off their electrics as they needed all the juice for the electric chair!

I think it is a well made and interesting documentary. They did an exceptionally good job digging up all the old news footage.

I don't think it's scary though. If anything it's very very sad.

I agree with you. He is an interesting guy but not scary to listen to. I think the Americans demonise him more then necessary because he shook the establishment when he was caught. They wanted to picture a serial killer as being a monster but Bundy was charming, attractive, well spoken and affable. If he was a killer, anyone could be.

Large debate online weather he should be portrayed by zac efron in an upcoming film as a heart throb style character, but that’s the whole point, bundy was a right heart throb. They need to be true to the story. He lured girls on with charm and flirt

The judge that sentanced him was even swayed by his charm and character! Ummm i highly recommend it, or at least recommend watching parts of it
