By heck it is cold up here, but the racing is on at least. Plus a football weekend and the rugby later. Heating on and the oven fired up to do a bit of cooking and baking as it all unfolds. Sorry not to post last weekend, a "technical" issue. (^_*) I did however have a nice double with my old favourites Kildisart and Frodon at Cheltenham. Love Frodon but I still don't see him as a "Gold Cup" horse, we will see. If he runs in it I am duty bound to stick with him I suppose. Will have a punt on the Rugby later as well.

Inaam @11/4 2.20 Lingfield

Houblon Des Obeaux @12/1 3.35 Sandown
Knockanuss @11/4 3.45 Leopardstown

Good to see you back. That naughty step plays havoc with your haemorrhoids.

Morning Jack......Most of it self imposed. I now refuse to sign in for a corresponding length of time after the edict has elapsed. Very satisfying too I must say. I can thoroughly recommend it.
How many rolls of the dice did it take you to throw the double, Togo? :-) Welcome back and good luck with the nags. I'm sticking with Sandown today, and, in particular, horses who have shown a liking for the course. May have a look at Kempton later but the lack of viable alternatives means extra funds; hence the reverse forecasts.

1.15; Darebin @ 14/1 (Rev f/c with Gino Trail)
3.00; Ballymoy @ 7/1 (Rev f/c with Eminent Poet)
3.35; Shanroe Santos @ 12/1 (Rev f/c with Houblon Des Obeaux)
4.10; Special Acceptance @ 17/2 (Rev f/c with She Mite Bite)

Have taken reduced odds for extra place where applicable. Win/e.w. singles, 20p Lucky 15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = approx £135, 4 winners = approx £16,408.

As far as The Clarets are concerned, back to a 2-1 @ 10/1 - Crouch to come on as sub and nod the winner :-)

You look after Crouchy Ken. Good lad. Owes us nothing, and good luck to him. He has left no "enemies" at any of the clubs he has signed for and is a good man is the dressing room. You can always expect 100% from him and brave too.
Always liked the fella, Togo, and his goal scoring record for club and country is testament to his prowess. I know he was only the makeweight in the Big Sam transfer but i think he can do the same job as Vokesy. Who, by the way, is as honest a player as they come and i can easily see him becoming a crowd favourite down there. Not much pace but the ability to be in the right place at the right time.
Question Author
Hope so regarding Vokes Ken.....we need someone to pop up in the right place, miss Walters for that role. He was a master.

Hopeless. So have thrown my cap in the ring for and England win in the Rugby. Done first try scorecasts as follows.

First try May, Score 6-10 @95/1
" " " " 11-15 @60/1
" " Nowell " 6-10 @125/1
" " " " 11-15 @ 80/1
Question Author
The scores are England win with a spread of 6-10 points or 11-15 points btw.
Question Author
First try Nowell woohoo. All I need now is England to win by 6 to 16 points.
Fingers crossed for you, Togo. I see Big Sam missed a pen - lack of practice, mate, lack of practice. We got our first penalty in 65 PL matches today and it should have been 2!!
Question Author
Plus we hit the post and the bar Ken. Think someone at the club killed a Robin. Loving Nowell though. England's new scruffy scrapper.
Question Author
Please forgive me, but I was cheering an Irish try there. Gave me a £162 pay out.
Well done that man :-)
