Financial Agreement
Hi. Wife and myself parted 18 months ago. I live in the matrimonial home which is in my sole name. House is now sold subject to contract and the ex and myself have thrashed out an agreement between ourselves as to who gets what and who pays what debts.
We've been advised by our conveyancers that to get a proper financial agreement in place, it needs to be done through the courts and the conveyancers will hold the cash on deposit until this is done.
We won't be getting much out of the house so obviously don't want this to cost a fortune.
Any ideas how long it could take to get the agreement finalised and a rough cost?
Thanks in advance.
