Brexit. The ONLY answer. A second referendum with a two-thirds majority.
Is there a statesman or woman capable of putting this into practise?

There are many Remainers who are not bright enough to see that In or Out is a binary decision which doesn't allow compromise (which is why we had the referendum in the first place), and are now talking about dea. This group has reinterpreted the decision to leave as a request to leave.
And there other Remainers who understand the binary nature of the decision perfectly well. As did all the Eurocrats at the time if you'd watched part one of the ten years of turmoil documentary. These Remainers, however, are used to seeing the progressive globalist agenda (of which federal Europe and the abolition of the nation state is part) advance unhindered despite any popular objection (not that this is usually sought, say as in the political decision to repopulate Cockney London with immigrants).
They are miffed, frustrated and surprised that at last (and for the first time in the case of the younger ones) a majority of their fellow citizens have decided not to indulge their whims. They can't be having that, can they? So they are using all means to prevent Brexit and put the brutish majority who voted for it back in their place.
