New Micro Wave Not Working

Bought anew MW From Asda,Click n Collect. A basic one. Believe it or not It’s not heating food. Set it fo 2 minutes on full power. Food barely warm. With factory inspection and quality control Is this possible. Well yes it seems it is. Taking it back this morning.

Yes, take it back. I can't imagine you'd have any problem getting your money refunded.

If it's a basic one, does it have a lower wattage than your previous one? If so, the food may just need longer.

Some food I put in mine is barely warm after only two minutes...it needs a stir and another two minutes, then it's piping hot.

Worth a try, maybe?

Spend a bit more when you take it back.

A 900 watt mic will boil a cup of water in 2 1/2 minutes. Have a look at your wattage and adjust the time and try it.

It’s a 700 watt. Same as my old one, which cooked microwave rice on full power for 2 minutes.

Take it back and get a 900 watt one.

Returned it Had the security tag removed at customer services for the replacement, and they tried to charge me £5 more for the same model. Don’t be afraid to question pricing.
