Aldo Wool

Following posts about knitting wool from Aldi, I bought some Aran wool. The label recommends washing at 30 degrees but I usually wash at 40. I know that manufacturers err on the side of caution so would this be ok?

If you have the facility to wash at 30 I would do so.

I agree with others, if I had paid for the wool and put the love and effort into knitting something I would treat it with care.

Milo - if your machine hasn't got a 30 temperature you could always wash carefully by hand in lukewarm water using a woollen type liquid wash.

Got to be careful with wool. Not worth the risk.
