Lots of stars out to play in a clear sky. No wind, should be a nice day. I'm going to take a wander to see an old friend today. Always good fun. Apart form that not a lot to do.
Tiggy III is still tucked up cosy. I thought he might have woken up yesterday. Far too early.

Just looked up to see a picture on the wall hanging wonky. Little un was standing on a chair yesterday studying it. It's wonderful to teach them a bit of history when they're interested in something!

Had a colleague with the name Hyatt. His old man came across with the Dutch in WW2 and was van der Hyatt. They dropped the van der with the boys at school getting teased with 'v.d.'

Now his wife (a surgeon) gets embarrassed when they go to the States - they often find that they are getting upgrades to the Presidential Suite in Hyatt hotels, the staff thinking that they are part of the family.
