I liked Mikey. He stuck to his guns and to his principles. He was never brow-beaten and continued to fight his corner. I miss his contributions.

I was in email contact with mikey a few weeks before he died. Top man he was.

A lovely man. I have very fond memories of him on AB.

I really miss Mikey on AB. Always prepared to stand up for his beliefs - and he was the only ABer I've found who liked opera, and we often used to post about our favourite recordings and performances. I think about him every time I hear anything from Rosenkavalier, one of his, and my, favourites.
