Anyone Heard Of ( Flightright ) Maybe A Scam ?
i fly often, but few months ago i got an email form flightright to say that they could get me compensation from an airline 2-3 years ago for being late, i cannot remember that flight but yes over the years i have had a few flight delays....
yesterday they say that ive won compensation of 600 euro, they will take 250 euro as commision,
but...thay are asking me to send them my IBAN and account number so thay can put money into my bank
maybe its a scam ?
can anyone advise on this, maybe i should try look up the airline myself and not pay any commision ? but how could i do this

FlightRight is a claim company similar to other claim companies such as ClaimFlights.Com, AirHelp & Refund.me, these all companies helps air passengers to exercise their rights and enforce them with the airlines. You can make use of their services if you had faced any flight disruptions such as flight delays of more than 3 hours, flight cancellations or denied boarding due to overbooking, these companies will help you in claiming financial compensation from airlines for the inconvenience you faced.
They are legit. I've heard of a variety of similar sites and used https:/ /skyref und.com myself. More or less agencies like Flightright and SkyRefund provide a very similar service with the only difference usually being the commission fee.
They make use of EU Regulation 261, according to which you can claim compensation for any significant delays and cancellations. Dunno how Brexit may affect this for flights from the UK.
