playing, winning is a bonus
Competition in what sense?

Good morning Bot.
In depends in The Hunger Games- winning, Bingo at your local Mecca playing a few dabs with your mates- taking part. Obvs.
Depends on what type of competition.
well, say a duel with pistols, dannyk?
To try to answer you seriously, generally if I take part in anything I go all out to win, I'm naturally very competitive in a work environment etc- but I HATE cheating or bad sportsmanship, so you won't find me being underhand, and those I find doing that have their card marked forever. Da da Daaahhhhhh!
Lameness from Nameless - as usual.
Taking part is more important..but only if you win.
Why?
Taking part is VERY important .... so why don't you take the time to participate in this conversation.

I often wonder what's the point of this bot - it's not like they're advertising anything ... what does the "owner" get out of it ... it's obviously not financial, does the "owner" read these posts and just get some kind of weird sexual gratification, by reading our answers??

.... the mind boggles ......
Well said, Giz
jno, I wouldn't call a duel a competition.,
If he gets off on thinking about me playing Bingo Giz, he really should get out more :) x
I'm not sure what's the sadder, claiming that Nameless14 is a computer generated entity or or trying to enter into a conversation with it.
I would say that if big money or prestige were at stake then winning is the most important. Don't think Wimbledon finalists eg just want to play. Local quiz? Taking part - winning is a bonus.
