Cat Scagging Soft Top Of Car

Hi does anyone have any ideas how I can stop a cat scagging the soft top of my car please? Little bleeder is using it like a scratching post :(
I've tried lemon and orange scented things inside the car and sprayed on the hood but nothing seems to be working.

We call that klooking Calico, and I had the same problem, my soft top became the favoured spot for sun bathing, leaving prey and klooking!
I ended up using a water pistol whenever I caught them - took a few attempts but worked in the end.
Like you I hate having to do anything like that to my kitties - but I had just paid £250 for a new roof and I really wasn't in the mood to replace it again!

Try putting some fine wire netting over it at night .

'Klooking' what a great word- yeah it's out there now sunbathing like it's on the cover of Vogue the little ***- I've chased it off three times this morning already. I'll go and out the top down since it's not raining while I contrive something better today.
