With Bill Maynard? It was OK, certainly a massive imprement on his previous 'comedy' outing - 'Oh No, It's Selwyn Frogatt', but then again, sticking forks in my genitalia was funnier than that!

"Don't open that cupboard, things fall out ....." Oh my aching sides!!!!!
I did watch it, but I can't say that I found it particularly funny, didn't he become Greengrass in Heartbeat.

Now, Minder, that was kwality.
Am i thinking of the wrong programme?

yes he became greengrass i loved minder to but not so funny really i must have a terrible sense of humour
I think it is one of those things when you remember something being better than it was, and when you reach that retro age of nostalgia and watch it again after 20 or so years, you wonder how on earth you ever liked it. Perhaps they just become dated, or were never funny in the first place!

I remember watching Minder with my dad and having a giggle at Arthur Daly's shenanigans, so I suppose that for me is more personal.
