I know -
Question Author
if only I could tackle it myself ie his fringe
Would he sit still for you?
Thats about right dog groomer doesn’t normally just do bits
I only took my dog in for a full groom, bath, nails and it was less than £30 but that was a few years back.
Sounds normal to me
. Nothing like that comes cheap these days.
Why can't you do it yourself, just get a friend to hold hum
JJ, I'm sure that Maxie would like a pamper session. Let the groomer do it all, properly.
I think £30 is quite reasonable.
Wouldn't be worth their time just to do the fringe jj. £30 for the full works is what you pay today and he'll be the better for it.

I do know what yous are saying but I did shower him about two weeks ago - getting a full cut is too cold for him at the mo - that's why I did only want the donkey fringe cut. LOL
Question Author
anyway emailed the groomer earlier today but to date no reply from her. she comes to the door which will do me and him.
I used to trim around my Westie's eyes and head between groomings. No problem. He just sat on my lap.
Question Author
no he wouldn't sit on my lap and he loathes anybody touching face. Groomer however is sorted for next Saturday week. Unless she has a cancellation. I get the mobile groomer - it's great -
