A statue of Michael Jackson has been removed from the National Football Museum in Manchester. Its removal comes as sexual abuse allegations against the singer are detailed in a new documentary film. The National Football Museum (NFM) said the statue had been taken off display as part of "ongoing plans" to "better represent" football's stories.

Just coincidence then ?

"are being exploited?"

Ohhhh nooo NJ nooo! I think everyone else is by how much money is in the game. The footballers are all happy playing on the back of corporate pigs. I just think that statue would represent the football scene better than MJ. Shamo
/// people ask for justice and when the verdict is delivered, they suddenly don't like it because it's not the verdict they wanted. ///

Something like Brexit then?
Well to be fair.. regardless of money or anything.. cases went to court, and no one was convicted.

People make excuses for that.. but at the end of the day, we have to have faith in our legal system.
They'll be telling us OJ was guilty next, spath.
No OJ situation is an odd one, people died and there was blood everywhere. Very different situation.

Watch him go.. "it's hard you know.. it's hard making people think i didn't you know" (as he twitches his neck)

Obviously implying its hard to convince people i'm innocent
Given that MJ didn't in any way shape or form represent 'football's stories', it's hard not to be cynical and say that this ties in with the general trolleys-in-a-robble reaction to the documentary being aired.
It was always a silly thing to have outside a football stadium or museum, even if he wasn't a paedophile.
