Acid attacks should result in a mandatory life sentence in my opinion. Deliberately disfiguring someone for life is worse than just about anything except murder.

What I fail to understand is why the father involved so many other people in carrying out this despicable act. Surely he would have had more chance of getting away with it if he had just had one accomplice.
