Visa For India

I'm going on a cruise and visiting India and Sri Lanka during out voyage. I know I need a visa but I'm getting conflicting information. I spoke to the company that the cruise line suggests, but, jeez, its nearly 3 times the cost. Has anyone had experience of this who can advise? Thanks in advance

My wife & I didn't need a visa for Sri Lanka. We went there with a cricket tour party.

The Indian Government website has a facility to apply for a visa online. There is no need to pay another company to do it.

Allow plenty of time the Embassy is quite slow but that aside is very efficient.
