Next door's either husband of about 65 years old or son 40 years old are playing some kind of game where they are blowing something up every second.

yesterday they played from 12 midday to 10.45pm - it is hard to stick and it is still going on. I'm just praying that some time they will get fed up of it.

They have played it before for all those hours - it does become wearisome for me but don't know what to do. Well I do - nothing.

Just a rant here. - you can hear it in the living room and even where I am upstairs on the computer.

Mamy - you know I totally got the wrong end of the stick and should not have been so presumptuous. They did say for me to knock their wall any time if I ever need them. Boy that made me guilty ok.

I mean they're getting the noise too and I'm sure it is annoying for them too. I'll tell them later about the Water Hammer.
Hopkirk - from page 1

//That's right I am deaf but my hearing loss is I literally can't hear high-pitched but hear like low "bombs" going off. Heard plenty of those in my day. //

And I have been shot twice in leg - that year many years ago they were just random shooting from cars.

That night the pain was so excruciating I assumed it was backfire from a car until a lady came up and said to me "you have been shot - oh God - my mother will kill me. Luckily it was outside a hospital so that was good.
You've been through the mill as we say. :-)

Hasn't everybody one way or the other. It good to laugh about it because my brother had to tell my mother that I had been shot, like she was in bed. When I got home that morning at 4.00am mother was snoring her brains out and I said to her - you were annoyed - not - ach love I fainted in bed. LOL
I guess we all have to an extent JJ, and yes - laughter can really get you through.

Am I the only one who saw the question and thought it was about blow up dolls?
