EHIC card delivery times

My friend has applied for her EHIC 13 days ago online.

I am worried for 2 reasons:

1)If the delivery estimate is 21 days then she may not get it, and we may have to change her insurance.
2)If the delivery estimate is less, then where is it?

Does anybody know the delivery span for an online EHIC application, so we can judge when it will come...

We must have applied in a quiet time ( Begining June) just 48 hrs later we got them for five of us! Did she write down the on screen reference number? ...

I reckon the delivery times have gone out over the summer. I know someone who applied online 17 days ago and it hasn't arrived. There's a phone number 0845 you can ring to chase it up.

I got mine in 48 hours too. Mind you, that was earlier in the year.
