Yes well balanced. I've watched it all now, the overview i have is that the parents were none the wiser. Very unfortunate, very unlucky. But slightly negligent (wrong focal point)
I think any ideas about the parents selling Madeleine, killing her or knowing about the kidnapping is hysterical.
The reason i think the McCanns (Kate in particular) gave off an odd / lying vibe is because (i personally think) they lied about the window situation. The door was left unlocked the entire time, and i feel Kate lied about the window so that fact wouldn't come to light because it makes them look negligent. It's one thing leaving your children untended, another with the door unlocked.
I think a paedophile ring took Madeleine and got her out of the boarder in a matter of hours.
I think all fault of investigation lies with the poor, scrubby Portuguese police. Mainly the Policia Judiciaria.
Another issue is that for the first 24 hours, Madeleine was just considered a missing person, not a kidnapped child. This made protocols such as road blocks, stop and search of cars, tightened boarders unable to be implemented until 24 hours after she'd had been taken. By which time she'd be in morocco 10 times over.
