Wednesday. I've been trying to get on here for over an hour! Electronics being all willful.
I didn't get to sleep until after 0200. Been up about about an hour. It was raining through the night, stopped now. Whatever is on the calendar for today is unlikely to get done!
DT emailed asking about yesterday, so here it is.
We got to Cheltenham General in plenty of time and were sent to the appropriate department. I didn't have to wait very long. I'll keep it as shot as possible to avoid boring everyone
Having got changed into a pair of shorts with a back access panel, was shown into the theater. The professor Yes, really. Introduced himself, we shook hands and we became instant friends. Three gorgeous nurses were there, I got on the table as directed. lubrication applied, in went the camera, hardly felt it going in. I could see everything on the screen. The camera got round the first corner of the colon, That hurt! On the screen I could see a lot of my bum I's never seen before, and to be honest, I don't want to see again! Two polyps that were diseased were removed, one that was not was left as it wasn't in the way an d doing no harm. All this took over an hour, A very long hour! I will get a copy of the report about the two polyps removed from the lab people. Once the camera was removed, I got dressed and waited until We were told all was well and we could go.
We went them to Gloucester Royal in plenty of time to have a good lunch. Two two excellent two course meals for £13.05.
We went to reception in the appropriate department and looked for the staircase to the office we had gone up to on the previous 'what will happen for the head scan. Couldn't find it. Asked at reception to be told that staircase and that office and the man in it didn't exist! Minty's spooky territory! We definitely went up that staircase and spoke to that man in the office on our prerlim visit.
Was told my brain scan had been put off until 23rd April. I asked why I hadn't been informed, to be told a letter had been sent. It was on the mat when I got home!
