Coccyx Pressure Sore

Any recommended treatments for an awkwardly situated pressure sore? It’s right at the base of the coccyx, in the indentation.

I’ve bought a special cushion from Amazon, and I was wondering if any of the proprietary ointments were any use.

Are you in the UK? If you have got a pressure sore you should be having support from a specialist nurse?

A) the skin. It wasn’t broken, just sore, but today there is a slight ‘grazing’, hence the question. Not open, just a change for the worst.

B) Still in NW London, but poor experiences with local nurses. I liked our local Tissue Clinic, so I’ll go back there if necessary.

you shouldn't have to buy the cushion or mattress that you need....better to go back to the tissue clinic early than too late
