I recently purchased an external DVD burner, but the quality of the AVI files I have burned to DVD is worse than when I burn the same file to SVCD.I usually convert my AVI files to MPEG using Cucusoft, but if I burn them as SVCD the quality is mostly good, but if I use the exact same process, but burn to DVD instead, the resulting quality is much poorer.I have also tried the 'convert to DVD' option in both Cucusoft and NeroVision, but the quality is still worse than SVCD. Am I doing something wrong.I just assumed that if I had the same AVI file, and then burned it once as an SVCD,and also burned it as DVD,then the DVD would be the better quality.
