/// A section 60 has been authorised across Hounslow Borough from 5.15pm on Tuesday until 4am on Wednesday. Police have the power to stop and search individuals for offensive weapons.' ///

Ah!!! That will soon sort it out, the question I wish to ask is " why isn't section 60 authorised, 24/7"?

Hounslow was predominently Indian until a few years ago and now the whole demograph of the place is changing so I`m not surprised the knife crime has come with that. My Mum was born there and it was actually a nice place at one time. It`s a complete dump now.

/// Aaaaaaand there we go. The real reason for the post. ///

Ah!!! yes Zacs, a white man showing concern for the increasing attacks and murders of young black lads.
We can't have that, now can we?
My sincere apologies, AOG. I thought you'd mentioned the attacks as a way to have a go at multiculturalism. I felt sure you would, after time, turn the post to the colour of the people involved and then to immigration. My bad.
//I often wonder why the black community have not yet taken to the streets with their protest boards "Black lives matter" and demanding action. //

Is there any room left on the streets of London to hold protest boards due to Remainers clogging them up? ;-(
Recently on here someone thought we should stop reporting terrorist attacks so they go away.
One of yours, ichi?
I was one of those that is of the opinion reporting terrorist attacks gives the terrorist the oxygen of publicity, well at least the 24/7 reporting they often get.

I agree with the knife crime to a degree, the only thing against though is that if not told the public will not press the Government to actually act.

Mind you, according to some on here today there is no problem and "all part and parcel"

because I think the knife men see the police and think - oh oops I will have to go where there are no police, in order to stab someone

the other things is: unless you can show that second stabbings occur near and soon after an initial stabbing
saturating the area with police armed to the teeth is a waste of tax payers' money

oh but apparently it reassures the public - I mean as a tax payer are you really that gullible ?

Controversial but I wonder if we stopped reporting these incidents would it help.
I’m not suggesting that that is feasible or even desirable from other points of view but I’m not sure there isn’t an element of “copycat” about these.

Brilliant.

And not reporting crimes worked so well in Rotherham, Rochdale, Telford, Oxford ....etc
