Do Some Young People Choose To Act Stupid, Or Are They Really That Stupid?
60 Answers
I've been watching a few reality tv shows that I don't normally watch (Dinner Date, Come Dine With Me, Botched) and cannot believe some of things that some of the younger people have said:
I was dating a girl from Wales but dumped her after Brexit as I knew she'd have to leave the country. "But Wales is in the UK!" Well, I know that now!
Who's Winston Churchill? You mean that nodding dog in the advert?
What do you mean, South Pole? There's no such thing - there can't be, cos I've never heard of it.
Trying to follow a recipe. What's tbsp? What's tsp?
I can't help but think this is an act because they think it is somehow cute or attractive. I work with young people and have never encountered this level of ignorance.

I always thought my daughter was a little bit dense (in a nice way) turns out she's not. It's just things we presume people should know, but if they're not told it, how would they know?
My mum bought us a book of countries and challenged us to memorise every capital city in Europe. We did it. She used to test us (as fun, not dictatorship)
