Billy Dainty and Roy Hudd appeared in Just a Song and Chorus at the Churchill Theatre. Can anyone name the song writer the review was about? He wrote hundreds of popular songs.

I have spent ages searching the web but I cannot help much, but here goes.

I can find no reference to the musical on the web so it may have been a one off.

Billy Dainty died in 1986 so he and Roy Hudd appeared together quite a while ago.

Roy Hudd of course is quite a fan of music hall and variety so it could be anyone from that era.

Roy Hudd did appear in Underneath the Arches about Flanegan and Allen but not sure if Billy Dainty was ever in it.

You could try contacting the theatre to see if they know.
