Black Screen On Computer

Hello,

I am using Windows 7 64 bit version with an A O C monitor.
I am getting a black screen for a number of seconds every time when I click from page to page on a few websites that I regularly use. I can still see the outline of my homepage whilst the screen is black so I don't think it is a monitor problem.
I have swapped monitors with an old one I have that was ok before I upgraded to the A O C. and although the screen does the same on the odd time it is no where as bad.
I have checked all connections on cables etc. and have ran CC Cleaner and Malware bytes as well as downloading IO Bit Advanced System Care 9 with Driver Booster 9 and ran those and updated all software and Drivers it showed needing updating.

I have also used my new laptop and checked the websites I am having problems with and it does not happen on that.

Hope somebody may have a cunning plan!

I am thinking maybe it could be a Video Graphics card problem.

A couple of things to try, if not already done so:-

Try installing and using an alternative Web browser, for example http://www.opera.com

If the problem persists, then try starting Windows up in 'Safe Mode' which will load a generic default Screen driver. If the problem is no longer present that would indicate a windows system or Graphics driver issue:-

- Power-on Windows and before Windows starts to load continue pressing the F8 key repeatedly in quick succession to eventually display an options menu where you can select 'Safe Mode with Networking'
