Big Thankyou to Belle Fast

This is in here cos the evil one in B&S deems it approprate to trivialise and ridicule it.
and to MNKO, PINKFIZZ and Monkeykiller who all gave excellent advice on the thread yesterday about my son's condition
Can I just say to Belle fast, if you hadn't told me about the Marfan's Syndrome, which I didn't really know anything about but rang a vague bell, i would not have made the appointment for the Docs for him. We have just got in from the Doc's and William has an eye condition related to a mild form of Marfan's and he cannot play footie until the optician has checked the back of the eye for lines.
The doctor also found a slight 'fluffing' as he called it, in one of Will's heart chambers, which is also related to marfan's. It was apparent 4 years ago but the Doc says it has not gone any worse or changed at all and so he would not say he has marfans but some of the symptoms, which are related to him being so tall and slim.
Belle Fast I am indebted to you for your excellent advice, and though my son is not over impressed lol, I know he is glad I asked on here. i have spoken to many of my friends and family about it over the last four years but none of them have had any clue.
This is what this category is all about, it is amazing to think strangers can help so much when it really matters.
All in all a sad and happy day, thank you guys, especially Belle Fast, you're a star.

Well we have had it at the back of our minds for 4 years and it has affected my son'r practical ability on his sports science course all this time but the second opinion gave us no further answers really. but as he wants to return to competitive sport i just wanted to know more about his condition, lucky i asked as far as i am concerned, and he knows it was the right thing to do too.
