St Joh's Wort

Hi everybody, I know you're not supposed to take this whilst on the pill but does anybody know if it's okay with the Depo Provera contraceptive injection? I'm just feeling a bit swamped at the moment.

I don't know the answer to this, specifically, but I was once in a herbalist's shop and there was a customer complaining that St john's Wort had made them very ill, and then I saw a programme on TV warning people with certain conditions not to take it. Do get medical advice on this. Good luck.

Thanks for your answers, you two. Especially lexx, I couldn't find anything that specific, must have been looking in the wrong places!
This isn't even something I'm even sure I'm going to take - usually I hate even taking an aspirin . But I just wanted to get a few facts and opinions on it first.
