The Next General Election – None Of The Above?
With the threat (or promise) of a General Election looming, should the option “None of the above” be included on the ballot form? If so, would you elect for that – and if not, which of the current political parties would you support?
At the moment I feel that the option to put my kiss next to ‘None of the above’ would be the only thing that would tempt me into polling booth.

Which is why I think that, at the last moment, those swearing never to vote again will change their minds at the last minute - much the way Brexit MPs caved in and backed May's plan, because voting for something is better than voting for nothing.

56% of the vote in Newport was for Brexit despite Paul Flynn and the Tories there campaigning vigorously for the Remainiacs. 41,236 out of a total vote of 73,708. Considering all the local "advice" from the politicians being to stay chained to the EUSSR, 56% were not swayed. I call that pretty convincing by any standard. It certainly overwhelmed Paul Flynn and his "staff".
//And the reason is that the more options you have, the less likely one option will be in a majority - because for it to have a majority, it needs to be more popular than all the other options combined.//
That my friends is why the devious Remainiacs keep asking for "another Brexit referendum" with multi choices at the Ballot.

'And here comes the liberal elite name calling .... '
Would you like to read that back to yourself, YMB and maybe analyse the 'liberal elite' bit. You sir, are a hypocrite.
Im neither liberal, nor elite. I just see a 'Wolfie Smith' (see Citizen Smith 70s sit-com for context if unfamiliar) idea for what it is. There's no thought given to the consequences.

it works okay in Australia. It's done on a Saturday and it's a big BBQ day. You can be fined modest amounts for not voting but most people do. Postal voting is allowed.
