Blank Pages
5 Answers
Epson printer is printing blank pages. It chugs away as if it's printing but there is nothing there. I've run the troubleshooter, I've also printed a test page which comes out fine! I've even downloaded new drivers.
Is there anything else I can do?

The problem you describe can occur when, for example, you're trying to print a PDF document displayed by your web browser. Pressing Ctrl P (or going to File > Print) only produces blank pages. To print the document you need to click on the printer icon which is embedded within the page itself.

Yes I switched it off when I got sick of it and on again when I decided not to hit it with a hammer.
Buenchico, Im printing from WordPad which I've been doing for a while now. It's just a list of quiz questions for the local quiz team. There has never been any bother until now.
I usually just go to 'file'> 'print'>'quick print' and that's it. Not this time though.

Try printing something from a different program. (e.g. copy & paste your quiz questions into Microsoft Word, OpenOffice Writer or similar and print from there - or try printing a photo from whichever software you use to view pictures).
If the problem disappears then clearly it's linked to WordPad; if it remains then it relates to either the printer or its drivers. (if it's the latter give Epson UK Support a call tomorrow between 0900 and 1800 on 0343 90 37766. Calls are charged at the same rate as those to 01 or 02 numbers which means that if you've got 'included minutes' on your mobile phone deal, or a landline contract that includes calls to 01 or 02 numbers, it will be free to you).
