seeing numbers everywhere...?
6 Answers
well, really, i have looked at my clock 6 TIMES over the past 2 weeks, for no special reason, and it has said 4.44am - i find that a little spooky.
any thoughts on this? i thought of dates (none work), lottery numbers, etc etc but also i am aware of pure coincidence.
still...but odd, eh? feel like i should use the numbers as perhaps they're trying to tell me something.
cheers

I kept glancing at the clock for weeks and it would say 11.11 sometimes I even looked at the counters on the machines at work and they would be on 1111. I mentioned it jokingly to my daughter saying more or less what you just said and strangely enough it happened to her a few times too. Maybe ours heads just know what time it is and we just happen to look at the clock at that exact time?
2 or 3 times could be just coincidence. But after that your mind could be subconsciously aware of it and trying to manufacture further coincidence. For instance, have you always been awake at 4.44am or has this just started happening recently? Also, how often do you look at your clock when it's not 4.44am?
I've had several times when I wake up at exactly 2:22 am
strange.....However, numbers and the ability for the brain to store them is totally bonkers.
If I was to set myself a task of writing down all the numbers I have remembered Im sure this would be a long list.
A typical list would probably start with:-
my age
my home door number
post code
home telephone number
work post code
work telephone number
work fax number
car registration number
mobile phone number
bank PIN number
friends phone numbers
friends mobile phone numbers (can only remember some)
friends door numbers
Ok, so thats part of my list, but of course, there are other things too that I could write down that I didnt immediately think of, such as my height and weight and shoe size. This then opens up all my own memories of size of collar, chest, waist, inside leg. The list has now grown to over 20, but then our memory also remembers other numbers too, like distances, measurements of items, prices of items, miles we get from our car on certain amounts of fuel. The list grows and no sooner am I pondering on what else my memory can recall, I think of at least 5 other items to add to it.
