Anyone Else Had This Problem With Advast, And If So How Did They Resolve It?

I have the free version of Avast anti virus.

To day I received a pop-up informing me that I had a tracker and gave me the choice to resolve the matter, so I clicked on this only to be informed that it would cost me a certain sum of money per month.

The problem being that I could not get out of this, it kept telling me to continue which I didn't want to do, seeing that it would cost me.

The only way that I could get out was to turn my computer off and then turn it back on.

Yes, I had exactly the same about 2 months ago and had to turn the PC off to get rid of it. It hasn't returned.

Funny I had this yesterday and even using task manager would not shut the screen down. If I hovered over icon for avast on task bar, I could close screen.
