Well I certainly think we need a way to weed out these types jno. When you have some TROB snowflake abusing a forces veteran there is something wrong. If he was refusing to bake a cake for a gay couple he'd be clapped in irons straightaway.
Snowflake indeed. I understand that he was upset because the shop assistant didn't immediately bow to him, and that he wanted preferential treatment because under certain circumstances it might be available, but surely that is between him and the branch manager, and nothing to do with the media.
It even says "they would not acknowledge his veteran status". Umm, ... wasn't that precisely his objection? That they did acknowledge his ex-military status but not in the way he wanted?
it was primarily because of this statement: //Mr Leale said when he explained the "supposedly faster appointment", the staff member allegedly asked "why should you have that after invading countries around the world and killing innocent people?".//
// some times it seems to throw up old stories as if they are new. apologies all. //
There are, to be sure, worse stories to repost about. Hard not to feel sympathy for the man in question, who should never have been treated so. By now, it's safe to assume (I hope!) that the employee has been sacked.
