People advising OP's that they may have inserted a CD upside down because the DVD is not working ?????
Is it acceptable to answer because it is Sunday and the wine had been chilling ?
Just a genuine thought on where the Answerbank stands as regard to sensible response.
As this is the place where folk come for good advise.
Or do they just get whatever half cut people think what they think and just say it ?

Baldric, I shall listen to bad advise then, just because its a form of advise !!
Fortunately I think I can decipher between good and bad advise.
Unfortunately there are folk who come on here that don't quite have that same ability.
And take what is given. Confusing them more than when they first asked for an opinion.
But it's advise as you say.

I was a n I to nurse for years, and am ok on gardening and British birds, I am a dab hand at stain removal. So Zacs zmaster, I don't talk crap...think carefully next time you compile lists. to the OP Some of us answer within our own areas of expertise.

Nobody really knows the experience or qualifications that others online have. It is better to read all replies and make up your own mind, depending on what makes sense to you personally.
Everyone can and does have an opinion- but I don't think those are generally useful on some sections, such as Law. You either know it or you don't.

I tend generally not to offer concrete answers unless I'm dead sure of what I'm talking about if it's a proper question requiring a specific answer, otherwise yes I do indeed just chat nonsense :)
