The Widow Tonight

Sorry to be a real pain but can anyone tell me really briefly what happened in the Widow tonight please? I missed it as I wasnt expecting the second episode to be on again until next week.. I would be very grateful.x

Could you not watch the episode you have missed on bbc iplayer or through your computer? I am not being unhelpful but an awful lot went on tonight, both in the present and three years ago. I don't think the third episode will make much sense if you haven't seen the second,( I know you can sometimes catch up but I think this is too convoluted!)

It took me by surprise that it was on again last night, but luckily I caught it. I agree that there is almost too much storyline to type but if you cant watch it on demand, google an episode guide, there are often full descriptions published.

Talk about slow? I thought i'd accidentally pressed the 'pause' button. What with the complexity of the plot, skipping from one place to another, flashbacks and the snail's pace with which it is developing, there would have to be absolutely nothing up against it for me to continue watching next week. I know that doesn't answer your question, Georgiesmum, but i wouldn't know where to begin relating what happened in last night's episode because i really don't know how much of it would be relevant to the rest of the plot.

That good then ,eh Ken? I probably wont bother to watch any more of it then Ken as I hate too many complex plots, twists and turns and when they keep going backwards and forwards three years. It leaves my head in a spin!

You can watch it on your computer but I would not waste your time. It is so complicated and you would need to be familiar with the Congo and all the fighting between factions there. It is so implausible anyway with the main female character wandering around in hostile Congo on her own. Daft!
