The UK will never move very far up the table until the Government honours their manifesto pledge to repeal Section 40 of the Crime and Courts Act 2013.
Unsure how to interpret the table. So everyone is absolutely brilliant then ?
^^^ The colours down the left provide a rough indication of where each country stands with regard to press freedom, O_G. The worse things are the nearer they get to the red zone (and, beyond that, into the black zone).
Another hypocritical NGO, isn't it?

Under the section "Religious toleration" it says:

'Some governments also try at the international level, especially at the United Nations, to promote a ban on “blasphemy” or to have the concept of “individual defamation” replaced by that of “defamation of religion,” a concept that flouts the principle of media freedom.'

And yet Austria is the sixteenth best good guy.
