delighted to be doing nothing

I have a whole sunday off, nothing to do, noone to bother me! I can sit around all day and not even bother getting dressed, watch what I like, eat what I fancy, waste the whole day online If I want..............and people keep posting they are bored!!!!!!!!!! i delight in having hours to myself, I even had a lie in til noon!!!! absolute luxury!!!
If you had a day doing nothing, what something would you not rather be doing?

i have very few days off as i have so many unemployed mouths to feed but on the rare days that i do take off i do nothing at all , i really dont understand people who feel the Need to do something on their days off like go to some smelly beach via a 6 hour traffic jam, which brings me to one of life's mysteries, why does 3/4 of the world s population go out on easter monday when they know the roads are chaos and everything is priced more expensive why do they not stay at home and take a day off which isn't the same as a million other people?

Sunday is my lazy day also. I work all week and it's the same routine , come home put the dinner on do the housework, get things ready for the next day. I love just being able to chill do a crossword, read, spend time on the comp BLISS !!

It's nice to have a day like that occasionally. I don't get many times when the whole day is mine but I used to feel guilty if I spent a day doing nothing. Not any more - I just doss around catching up on my reading, watching television or doing whatever. Like bob I don't see the point in sitting in traffic - I don't like crowds so a shopping trip is hell.

I like lazy Sundays...in the pub from 3....like to go to quiet pubs with noone to bother me or get on my nerves.

I walked 5 miles in the cemetery this morning (~10,000 steps) and I'm just off to do another 10. Very relaxing.

I have a lot of Sundays to myself, hubby works every Sunday so I love to get a good book and read. I used to go for walks in the hills by the water, we have those kind of places in Canada. I know what you mean by having the day to yourself, lovely. I,m never bored, I always manage to find something to do.

I always try to do all household chores before my day off so I will have my day all to myself to do as I please. I�m off today as well and just getting out of bed. I�m going to shower, get something to eat and back in bed with a book.
