Hi atolhurst,
Its main requirements are plenty of sun and moisture in the summer and cooler, dryer conditions in the winter. if its in a pot it may be possible to move it inside, away from frost but keep an eye out for red spider mite.
It should do well in a John Iness compost -2 or 3 with some ericaceous compost mixed in, as it preferes it on the acid side.
Fruits can take up to a year to ripen fully so be patient!
Good Luck Tbird+
