hi,does anybody have a fool proof recipie for a sponge cake, cake tin size 12 inch,ive been asked to bake one for a party,thanks.

This cake is so easy to make - you literally just bung everything in a bowl, whisk it up and cook it! I made it yesterday for a childs birthday party and it came out perfect. You'll need to adapt the recipe slightly for a 12 inch tin - 1 and a half times the recipe should do it.
