er I dont actually
the first generation was immediately after the crucifixion, and the Acts discusses whether or not the End is imminent or delayed
and then the script gets re written when the End obviously has NOT occurred

Just after the crucifixion, Israel was still not a sovereign independent nation and would never be until 1948.
