Like Button

Why isn't there a 'like' button on AB? I quite often want to like a post but don't always have the time or inclination to actually post something. Methinks I spend too much time in 'the other place' lol

Likes would be condescending in heated discussions, they would also act as an antagonising feature. They could also be used against people, for example if someone insulted a member, and 100 other members liked it.. that would be quite savage on a member unnecessarily.

People jumping on what other people said with a like? Just add to the thread or don't.

also it gives the idea the answer is right, or honourable, when it might not be.. It's simply my opinion. A like feature would be moot.
