Woodlands Nhs Centre In Leicestershire 1980's ?
2 Answers
Random question, I know, but I am trying to locate a NHS facility in Leicestershire called Woodlands. I think it was a day care / outpatient clinic. There are a couple of rest homes with that name now, but it's not those so I'm assuming it was closed / renamed at some point.

There was a mental health care building called Woodlands Day Hospital in Narborough. It was run by the Carlton Hayes Mental Health Charity, providing services to the NHS. See the reference to the Woodlands Day Hospital here:...

In 2013 Taylor Wimpey successfully applied for planning permission to extend the building and convert it into 13 apartments. Although the building was still called Woodlands Day Hospital in that application, it was actually described as a 'nursing home' then.
The address was given as
The Pastures
Narborough

Leicestershire
LE19 3DY
The Pastures is quite a long road but most of the properties on it are clearly normal houses. The only properties which look as if they could originally have formed part of a hospital site are those located at the eastern end of the road, where there are two driveways which each feed a group of buildings:

(It might just be coincidence but the road behind those buildings is called Woodland Avenue).
So that's my best bet!
